Communications Division

The Communications Division is responsible for planning, organizing and operating the centralized communications system within the Department. Police dispatchers dispatches for all six districts in the Town of Riverdale Park. Communications work out of the main police station.

Criminal Investigation Division

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is responsible for all felony investigations relating to forgery, auto theft, white collar crime, robbery, rape, and assault.

Patrol Division

Patrol officers are responsible for answering calls for service, patrolling assigned areas, investigating motor vehicle collisions, enforcing traffic and criminal statutes, and completing written reports and other documents as required.
