The Records Department is the central repository
for all official reports generated from the Riverdale Park Police Department.
The current year and last year's reports are kept in office while older reports
are kept in archives. If you wish to request a copy of a report that is over a
year, please call the department in advance to ensure that staff has adequate
time to search for your request.
To request a copy of an accident or
incident report you will need the case number. If you do not have the case
number, please provide us with the date, time and location of the
accident/incident. There is a $25 fee payable by cash or money order. Fees are
waived for victims of a crime.
To receive a flagging release
(VR-119) you will need to first pay your outstanding citation. Once your fine is
paid in full there is an additional $25 fee (cash or money order) for the
flagging release.
To request a credit letter to clear an outstanding
account on your credit report you must first pay the outstanding citation. Once
your fine is paid in full there is an additional $25 fee (cash or money order)
for the credit letter.
