Garbage and trash should be placed in the same containers. All containers shall be kept clean and desinfected. Garbage should be wrapped in paper/plastic in order to reduce odors and prolong the life of the containers.
YARD WASTE COLLECTION
Yard Waste- Biodegradable waste that ca be comprised of garden waste such as grass, weeds, flower cuttings, tree and hedge trimmings, but not leaves in quantity. All articles such as tree, trimmings, hedge cuttings, etc., should be broken down and tied in compact dundles nort heavier than sixty (60) pounds nor more than four (4) feet in lenght to permit safe and rapid handling by one man.
BULK TRASH COLLECTION (Weekly by Appointment)
Contact Bates Trucking & Trash Collection on 301-773-2069 in order to set a date and time. Bulk trash will consist of item that weigh more than 60 pounds. Please note that you will be limited to two (2) items per appointment and like regular collections your bulk trash has to be out in front of your home by &:00 a.m. on the schedule day.
